Through Bingham's eyes

Below are a collection of pictures taken by one of my favorite photographer, Howard Bingham. He is famously known as the biographer and photography of Muhammad Ali.

The pictures below are a few that he took during the Rumble in the Jungle fight.

the reason why these pictures are so impressive is b/c its not like he had camera of today that can take 100 snaps a min and he just picked the best one of that set, he had to have perfect timing to get all of those shots.

unless i am wrong and the cameras from back in that time were more advanced that what i am giving them credit for

@ stew - going from digital to film was a hard transition for me b/c i was spoiled w/ instant preview and the fact that i could take 100 shots to get that one perfect shot.

as far as getting that perfect shot w/ film i had to take a different approach and since i shoot w/ 35mm the most exposure on one cartridge is 36 exposures.

personally i think the results are somewhat better and more authentic w/ film...
