Auction of the century.

I'm sure you heard of the upcoming Michael Jackson Auction on April 24th and the rumored 200+ things being auction...i think they underestimated a little...b/c The auction company, Julien's, just released the auction catalog and its 240+ pgs worth of stuff...below are a few pics from this catalog...













His arcade collection (50+ pgs) could have rivaled some arcades in japan (10 yrs ago)...

He also had thing for life sized dolls...the Red Power Ranger, Batman, Superman, Spiderman, and Bruce Lee are just a few...

Stuff that is missing from this auction: 

-Sly Stone and the Family catalog (Publishing Rights)

-Beatles Catalog (Publishing Rights)

-Elephant Man remains

-Bubbles

-hyperbaric oxygen chamber

-a bottle of Jesus Juice

-and the real E.T. (I know MJ has him)...

Before there was 1, now there are many...

For about a while I have been thinking about switching up my header pictures (the Do the Right Thing movie snapshots above) to another movie, but I'm having a hard time making my mind up...

A little background history:

A little more than a year ago, I borrowed (stole) the Do the Right Thing dvd from my girlfriend. This robbery was due to the fact that at the time I was trying to make t-shirts (in collabo with my gf) and I needed images for my potential tees. What other movie would be perfecto for imagery/memorable/recognizable/influential scenes???

One of the images that I wanted to use for my t-shirt project was this one:

"Sweet Dick Willie and Friends"

Well to make a long(er) story short, b/c of my laziness, the t-shirt project never transpired but since I liked the picture so much I wanted to use it, some how some way...Originally, the above pic was the only picture in my blog' header...as you can see now there are several images from Do the Right Thing.

Just my luck, someone will make a Sweet Dick Willie and Friends t-shirt...lol

I probably rip'd scenes from more than 1/2 of the movies in my dvd collection...Well, here are a few of movies/pics that i thought about using:
