I found myself watching Minority Report until 2:30am last night/this morning...I forgot how good this film is...below is man behind it and others...
Philip K. Dick (December 16, 1928 – March 2, 1982) was an American science fiction novelist and short story writer. Dick published 36 novels, 14 short story collections and wrote approximately 121 short stories, many of which appeared in science fiction magazines.

Although Dick spent most of his career as a writer in near-poverty, nine of his stories have been adapted into popular films since his death, including:
-Blade Runner (
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?)
-Total Recall (
We Can Remember It for You Wholesale)
-A Scanner Darkly
-Minority Report
In 2007, Dick became the first science fiction writer to be included in The Library of America series.
Although I haven't cracked open a book in a while, I think I'll head to Barnes and Noble later on 2nite to pickup one...
