today was a good day...

it was an eventful weekend...

on friday...
ricky, karla, and I attended the Teedra Moses (link) concert at Sugar Hill (link). The concert was...blah...the doors OPENED at 9pm and she didn't get on stage until 1am...and she was done at 1:39am! funking ridiculous! she must have thought she was beyonce...

walking up to the underground...

before the concert we ate at a restaurant/bar called Irish Bred Pub. there wasn't a single irish person in there...and the waiters looked like strippers! holla, holla!

karla's chips and spinach dip...wheres the spinach?!?
"ugh, this was a bad choice...."
~karla

sugar hill...9pm...

donald's $5 water..."how about i give you 50 cents and you can pour some of it in my hand?"

two important things to note in this pic...karla's pineapple juice...and more importantly the candle holder w/ candle...someone threw one of these things, out of frustration, onto the stage while waiting for teedra...since i was in the front, i was covered with candle wax...that stuff is really hard to get of clothes...

karla's new phone...its about damn time!

forgot her name...but she was a hip hop violinist...kinda like mari ben-ari...

amigos...

lol...

the candle holder that someone threw...candle wax was everywhere...

1am...

"i thought they told this dude (pacman jones) to stay outta the club..."
~ricky

Pacman Jones walked into some club w/ about 20 other football players...didn't hear anything on espn, so i'm assuming he made it out o.k...

Saturday
my brother. he had a long night as well...partied hard and couldn't even get up for breakfeast...

april hill (link) performing at the aggie alum auction...she's pretty dope! i think she wants me...we made eye contact a few times...yeah she wants me...

donald on the mic, hosting the auction...had everyone rollin!

supposedly this ticket was in the raffle bucket...i beg to differ...they raffled 15 or so things...none of the numbers that they called came close to mine...
hey ricky and xanthia, don't these fans look familiar...luscious lucious are these yours?!?

a girl that looked like Bird from Soul Food (HBO) was the bread winner of the auction...

Ricky "Cool-Aid Smile" Bennett brought in a little change as well...
we got the boot!

after the auction and waiting 30 mins for parking services...ricky and I met everyone at RARE (link) pretty good food, a little on the expensive side...well it depends on what you get...i think your paying for the ambiance as well...it was dark (probably b/c they didn't want you to notice how small your food was) and instead of booths, chairs and a table, your eating area looked like a huge bed...it was cool...

they were showing this weird cartoon on one of the walls...its march madness, can we put the game on?!?
yeah that chicken and waffles dish = bullsh!t!

if you find yourself here...DO NOT ORDER THIS! dayum, chicken and waffles but everything else was good...

would i go again? sure, i would...its a tapa's restaurant so the portions are going to be small(er)...i just have to be smarter about what i pick to eat...the food was good though and since we went with a large group, there was plenty of food to go around...

game time at Jamesia's place. the smallest (malnourished) dog in marietta, Mr. T.

BOW CHICK WOW WOW! Mr. T gettin' his swerve on...you can nuder him but you can't kill the funk!

UNC = FINAL FOUR!

Sunday
with a coupon, my brother, ricky and I ate 20 wings, 3 hamburgers w/ fries, and 3 drinks for $13...

I feel so left out. :-(
I'll be here this weekend waiting on furniture but everyone will be in Durham for Jess. I just hate it!

You think you took enough pictures? Sheeesh. Visual overload.

Teedra Moses is still singing? SHE-ESH. I like those leggins tho. That phone is dope. That food looks good.

This makes me anticipate my move in a year...ish...lol
